Aboriginal Resource Development Service (ARDS)

Aboriginal Resource and Development Services Inc (ARDS) is a small and innovative non-government organisation (NGO).

We are an Indigenous organisation working to empower the Yolngu people of north-east Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.

Our education and research is in the language of the Yolngu people and focuses on health, law, social services, economics and governance.

ARDS is involved in numerous education based projects within north-east Arnhem Land, as well as in Darwin.  This includes:

• a language service centre

• resource development

• a recording and archiving service
