Reconciliation is the focus of a schools festival in Adelaide.
Hundreds of students from across South Australia are at Adelaide Town Hall as part of National Reconciliation Week.
The students are learning about Aboriginal language and customs.
Chris Robinson from the Education Department says most children get too little exposure to Aboriginal culture.
"There's a lot of children who don't get to meet Aboriginal people in their everyday lives," he said.
"They might see things in the media that are, you know, fairly negative about Aboriginal people and we want to make sure kids get another perspective.
"The festival itself is designed to give students an opportunity to go and experience things like a Kaurna greeting, a smoking ceremony - they're able to go and meet members of the Stolen Generations and even learn some Kaurna language."
